While Expansion Joint Covers, by themselves, do not offer a fire rating, it is very common to pair them with a fire barrier system to meet the fire ratings of your project and prevent the spread of fire from one space to another. We offer ratings up to three-hours depending on the application and also offer thermal and vapor barriers to provide environmental protection. Our thermal vapor barrier systems are available in values of R13, R19, and R30.

Fire barrier systems are rarely installed without a cover and our team is ready to help you navigate your projects’ conditions to select the proper covers and barrier accessories.
